My HongKong trip with my family and relatives... first picture was the Ocean park and the next was the Disneyland.. It was nice place and view.. I enjoy the trip very much with my family and relatives.. We ate a lot hongkong foods and drinks.. we go shopping a lot.. we bought many clothes and souvenirs for friends.. one of the dessert tat i will never forget was the sesame ice-cream.. it was really very very very delicious.. the taste of it, i really cant forget.. very nice !!

Furthermore, the dessert of mango oso very nice !! it is very famous of the shop name.. i think everyone tourist will know bout it.. they surely will have a try of it... of course, not left of me..!!! really nice..

The ocean park was nice, we played many adventure rides.. so fantastic.. 360 degree rollercoaster.. even my uncle sat on it.. it goes three turn of 360 degree round.. very exciting.. there is even cable car in the ocean park.. The ocean park was really big.. we played the whole day there.. underwater world as well.. so many sea creatures were there.. very fantastic..!!

A memorable trip that i ever had.. Nice food and place.. !! The most interesting and i love the most was their train culture.. really fast and on time.. every few minutes there was a train coming.. i really enjoy the train there.. i love it.. by just taking the train, u can go everywhere in Hongkong.. really very comfortable and convenience.. Hope to go once again !!! Dont miss the chance to sit on the train using an octopus card..!! hahaha...

Sandwich @ Picnic Day at UCSI University !!!

Sandwich day !!! We had a picnic day at UCSI University.. We brought our own tomatoes, vegetables, bread, milk, eggs and etc for our sandwich !! So delicious.. we made our own sandwich at UCSI... We never buy any food from the food stalls at UCSI..

Eating tis sandwiches is more healthier and balance.. We had a great day of it.. We divide the ingredients among ourselves and we brought to sch for our lunch.. We enjoy it so much.. First time, having picnic at college.. Really fantastic.. everyone was looking at us.. even we brought our own cup for the milk and fruit juice..!! We planned to have more of tis activity.. !!! Really fun...

Broga Day.. Adventure trip with frens!!!

Hahaha.. tis is the BROGA hill trip with frens... We enjoy the hill trekking..!! One of my frens not often going for hill trekking but he still manage to climb up tis hill.. we support him all the way up to the top of the hill... he felt so happy and proud of himself tat he can climb up the hill..

We learnt to be helpful every steps of the hill trekking and also tis trip enhance the relationships between our friendship !!! Happy and adventurous.. the sun rise was so nice.. that the Sun bring the brightness to our life... after doing exercise, body felt so fresh and more healthier than before.. haha.. exercise or hill trekking also can helps to relax our mind and body.. it can help us to think and memorize things more easily.. brain can function more better.. !!! Must trained ourselves to be more active in exercise.. tis is one of my goals !!!

Love it so much.. can relax urself at here.. the picture with mist around the hills are the Gunung Berinchang.. !! u can have a look at the hill top.. absolutely a place for relax and fresh air with vegetables and strawberries..

everything there is GREEN !!!! Cactus is nice.. furthermore, flower is beautiful..!!! i bought Cameron Lavender !!! it was absolutely NICE !!!!! my favourite lavender...

corn at cameron is sweet and nice.. can have a try someday.. very delicious.. i went there for twice.. everytime i went there i will buy the corn to eat.. it can be eat freshly without any cook..!! so fresh and sweet.. cactus oso one of the plant tat i will bought from cameron.. i love the structure of it and the colour of greenish.. so nice.. GREENNNN....

Have some day to visit Cameron...!! One more thing to share is the strawberries Memory (cafe which sells everything in strawberries) very delicious oo.. i ate strawberries ice-cream and strawberries drinks in a rainy day at Cameron.. Very cold oo.. but very nice..!! Must have a try one day...

This is the video that my group and I were doing in the past few semester.. It means a lot to me.. It was our hard work !!! It was so fantastic to me.. We take a long period to do shooting of the pictures.. We cut the pictures that we want one by one.. We have to do some conversation and talking to the pictures and do cutting of the video.. As me and some of my friends were not so familiar with the program of cutting videos.. We had a headache on the cutting of video.. It takes us the whole night to do the cutting of video..

After everything is completed, this was the outcome that we had done... We are so happy with it and proud of ourselves that we can do this.. It was really fun.. We enjoy the progress of doing it..

Let me tell u more about GLYCOL and you will know what they actually are and what are they doing in your favourite products. The addition of GLYCOLS can increased product absorption in the skin. Propylene glycols are used as humectants (keeping foods from drying out too fast), solubilizers, and stabilizers which help to moisturize and to increase absorption.

Basically the GLYCOL is similar to DIOL. As both have the same chemical structure which contains two hydroxyl groups.

The "-OH" is a hydroxyl group which O is oxygen and the H is hydrogen. Well, there are so many different kinds of compounds with two hydroxyl groups so Come Let's focus to the ones which most likely to pop up in your products.

1,2-Propanediol structural formula

The Propylene Glycol also known as 1,2-Propanediol and 1,2-Dihydroxypropane, which resembles ethylene glycol in its physical properties. The propylene glycol is produced in large amounts from propylene oxide, which is obtained from the propylene. The propylene glycol (PG) is a clear, colourless, odourless, tasteless, hygroscopic (attracts water), and viscous liquid. It has molecular mass of 76.09 which its vapour is heavier compare to air.

It is very dangerous when it reacts with strong oxidants which will cause fire hazard. However, the propylene glycol is approved by the FDA for use in food, and is considered generally accepted as safe.

Even beers use it to produce a foamy head. Its functional use is emulsifier.

Did u know that... A cosmetic in the form of mineral oil are found in automatic brake and hydraulic fluid and industrial antifreeze. In the skin and hair, propylene glycol works as a hum scent, which cause retention of moisture content of skin as well as it goes for the cosmetic products. Remember!! Avoid skin contact with propylene glycol as it is a strong skin irritant which can cause liver abnormalities and kidney damage. It will irritate the eyes too. Propylene glycol is used in artificial smoke or fog machines. It is also used as a preservative.

The Carnauba is a wax which is derived from the leaves of the carnauba palm, Copernicia prunifera, a plant native to and grown only in the northeastern Brazilian States of Piaui, Ceara, and Rio Grande do Norte. It is known as the "queen of waxes" and usually comes in the form of hard yellow-brown flakes. It is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm by collecting them, beating them to loosen the wax, then refining and bleaching the wax. It is similar to the Beeswax (Triacontanyl palmitate), Octadecyl octadecanoate (stearyl stearate), Dodecyl hexadecanoate (lauryl palmitate), Cetyl palmitate, Lanolin, Glycol distearate, and Jojoba oil.

Beeswax

Waxes are actually esters. It is the combinations of long chain alcohols and long chain fatty acids. There are also waxes made from more complicated building blocks. The wax that bees make is a complicated mixture of many compounds, but about 70% of it is the wax made from the fatty acid, palmitic acid and the long chain alcohol triacontanol (melissyl alcohol).

Its INCI name is Copernicia Cerifera, the carnauba wax. It is a pale yellow to light brown, hard and brittle solid which have a clean fracture. It is among the hardest of natural waxes. It is even harder than concrete when it is in pure form. Its functional uses are glazing agent, bulking agent, acidity regulator and carrier.

It is insoluble in water and practically insoluble in ethyl alcohol but partially soluble in boiling ethanol, ethyl acetate and xylene and soluble in ether. Its melting range is from 80-86ºC (180-187ºF). Its relative density is about 0.97. Its acid value is between 2 and 7 whereas its Saponification value is between 78 and 95. Its ester value is between 71 and 93 which is subtract of the acid value from the Saponification value.

The Carnauba wax contains mainly the esters of fatty acids (80-85%), fatty alcohols (10-16%), acids (3-6%) and hydrocarbons (1-3%). The more specific content of the carnauba wax is the esterified fatty diols (about 20%), hydroxylated fatty acids (about 6%) and cinnamic acid (about 10%). The Cinnamic acid is an antioxidant which maybe hydroxylated or methoxylated.

As Carnauba wax can produce a glossy finish therefore it is used in automobile waxes, shoe polishes, food products such as candy corn, instrument polishes, paper coatings, floor and furniture waxes and polishes, especially when mixed with beeswax and turpentine. It is used as a coating on dental floss. It is the main ingredient in surfboard wax, combined with coconut oil. Its properties of hypoallergenic,emollient and shine make carnauba wax appears as an ingredient in many cosmetics formulas where it is used to thicken lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow, foundation, deodorant, and various types of skin care preparations as well as sun care preparations.

In foods, it is used as a formulation aid, lubricant, release agent, anti-caking agent, and surface finishing agent in baked foods and mixes, chewing gum, confections, frostings, fresh fruits and juices, gravies, sauces, processed fruits and juices, soft candy. Carnauba emulsions are used in fruit coatings, can coatings, furniture polishes, graphic arts coatings and latex products. Though too brittle to be used by itself, carnauba wax is often combined with beeswax. It provides a high-gloss finish which is waterproof that can increase the leather's hardness and durability. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry as a tablet coating agent.
